Our Beautiful Neighbor is Graduating!!

As a special favor to our neighbor, I took her Senior photos yesterday! We couldn't have asked for better weather and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect model! I've watched her grow up in the last 10 years and can't believe she'll be graduating next Spring!

Get ready for a big preview of her photos! I just didn't know where to stop! :)

Congratulations on your Senior Year Miss H- enjoy every minute of it! And good luck with Homecoming Coronaton this week! I'm crossing my fingers for you!!

8 days old

Look who arrived just in time for the holidays!  Mr. E arrived just in time for Thanksgiving, but looks like he'll be ready for delivering packages on Christmas too! ;)

Maybe he'll just snuggle up inside of his stocking along with Bella instead :)

Mr. E's parents were just thankful that he finally made his appearance two days after his due date healthy and happy.

He was a great little model for me!  And Mom and Dad are truly in love with their little boy!

One more of the snuggly little boy who is sure to give big bear hugs someday! ;)

5 cute kids and 1 beautiful night!

We met up at Cleary Lake last night and it was beautiful as always! I've been honored to photograph this family for the last couple of years and have watched them grow into a family of 7! The last time I photographed them was to welcome Miss A!  You may remember this photo:

Baby C is 4 months old!

Remember this little handsome little guy?

He's now 4 months old and more adorable than ever!

I met with him and his parents out at the MN Landscape Arboretum on Friday evening for a 4-month/family photo session. He was full of smiles for Mom and Dad.  He would tell us lots of stories- I just love baby talk! :) Most of all, he was a trooper! While we did have beautiful sunshine and warm fall temps (for MN), the temp was falling as fast as the sun was setting!

He did get his first taste of a leaf or two while we were trying to get him to smile:

It was great seeing all three of them again! We ended with my favorite family photo of the evening:

Class of 2012

I'm going to admit right up front, that I didn't know where to stop for this 'preview' of this Senior's session. I've watched this beautiful young woman grow up for the past couple of years and I was honored to have been asked to take her Senior portraits. Anyway, as you can see, I have many, many photos to show both Miss N and her parents.  I hope they're pleased- I sure am! :)

We first went out to Cleary Lake:

After Cleary Lake, we went over to a friend of the family and used their beautiful landscaped yard for more photos...

And then we went downtown for a bit of fun...

Hope you can understand why I had such a hard time choosing what to show you!! After 3 hours, we got some amazing shots.  Certainly helps to have such a beautiful girl to work with (who didn't think I was crazy when I asked her to do some of the things I asked of her)! ; Thanks again to the S family!!

Good Morning from Cleary Lake!

Cleary Lake Regional Park is very quickly becoming a favorite of mine! I met a new family out at the park this morning for their session bright and early. Love the park in the morning- what a different look the park takes on compared to last night! :)

While the sun was bright, it was a little chilly, but everyone was troopers- especially the handsome boys! I did need to coax a few smiles out of the boys in the beginning, but after a while, the smiles came more naturally and we just had fun together!

At one point, the boys were dancing like ballerinas trying to get their parents to smile for me! Such sweet boys! :) (No photographic evidence of this, however!)

My own family at Cleary Lake this evening

A few of my favorites of my own family out at Cleary Lake this evening. Thank goodness for tripods and remotes! ;)

I'll be back tomorrow morning and possibly tomorrow night for more sessions! Can't wait! :)

Perfect evening at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Wow was it ever busy, but boy was it gorgeous!! We picked a perfect evening for our session! It's not often that I get to work with older kids, but when I do, it's a lot of fun!  :) Especially when you know their Dad just a little bit (he works with my husband :) ). So when you tell her she's acting just like her dad usually does, you might get a reaction like this from everyone:

The truth is, I had so much fun working with the whole family.  They were so easy to get to smile and cuddle with each other, it made my job so much easier.  I had so many photos to choose from, that I didn't know where to stop!  So please just enjoy:

And my personal favorite (and probably the girls too as it was one of the last ones taken which meant they could finally go have ice cream! LOL)

Love watching this family grow...

I've been honored to photograph this family since this (not so little anymore) guy was just a few months old!  He's now in Kindergarten!

His beautiful older sister tells me all about school and what she's up to- she's now in third grade- I could hardly believe it! :)

Their adorable younger sister is a little more shy when it comes to the camera, but when she does, it melts your heart!

Our location this year was Lake Minnetonka Regional Park and it was beautiful!!

Can't forget about the parents- thank you for allowing me to photograph your wonderful family! It's wonderful to see you each year and catch up with everyone again!!

Remember how I told you that Miss B is shy when it comes to the camera? She also likes to tell me when she's done too!  Here's proof! LOL  I love this one! :)
